I went to another football game this week, this time with the brother in law, and Oxford fan, James. Here are a few photos, only had 3,000 fans there, compared to 25,000 at the Norwich game the week before. What a difference in a few divisions.
Final score was 1-1, with Oxford having a player sent off, but still nearly winning it in injury time.
It also got me thinking as to how many grounds I've visited, has been a few, not as many as a lot of people I know, but still think I have an eclectic mix. Here they are, I hope to add more as time goes on. I haven't always taken a camera to the game, so some are photos I've taken, but some are not - these are also in chronological order..... I think:
Carrow Road, Norwich City (vs Coventry City 1993 FA Cup 3rd Round, 1-0 Norwich, Darren Beckford scored)
Wembley Old, England (vs Holland, Euro '96, famous 4-1 victory)
Sixfield, Northampton (vs Oldham Athletic, 0-0)
Boundary Park, Oldham Athletic (vs Fulham 1-1)
Portman Road, Ipswich (think it was their win over Sunderland, 5-1)
St James' Park, Newcastle (England vs Azerbaijan, 2-0 win in World Cup Qualifier)
Millenium Stadium, Cardiff (Norwich vs Birmingham - Play Off final, 1-1, Norwich lose on penalties......)
Wembley New - England (England beat Ukraine 2-1 in World Cup Qualifier)
Kassam Stadium, Oxford United (Oxford vs Exeter, play off semi final, Oxford lose on penalties)
Griffin Park, Brentford (vs Oldham Athletic, Brentford win 2-1)
Abbey Stadium, Cambridge (vs Oxford, Oxford win 3-0)
Roots Hall, Southend (vs Norwich, Norwich win 3-0)
Selhurst park, Crystal Palace (vs Norwich, 3-3 draw in the Premiership, Norwich were 3-1 up, that one hurt....)
BMO Field, Toronto (Toronto FC vs Kansas City Fire - Toronto win 3-0, with helps from former Norwich players, Jim Brennan and Carl Robinson!)
