Star Gazing 4
Last one of the night, and I accidentally found the north star!
At least doing this at home rather than out in the field means that you can nip inside for a nice warm drink whilst the exposures are in progress! More chance of star trails than the Aurora at the moment. Keep at it!
Thanks! Hope you're well. Definitely better to experiment at home, better to be close to home when you find out it didn't quite work. I did hear on Radio Norfolk this morning that they were seeing if the northern lights had made it down this far, but no sign of them in Cromer!
I had seen some photo taken on the north Norfolk coast of them from Sunday night. Supposed to be a good night of activity with the Aurora again tonight - shame! We have fog and too much light polution. At least you clould get to the coast quickly for a clear sky. BTW dare I ask how's work?!
We've had too much cloud in the last few days too, although I had a good attempt tonight (star trails, not the Aurora). Despite not seeing anything like that your way, you did get some cool shots of those ice crystals, didn't you.
As for work... it's tough at the moment, but I'm hanging on in there, thanks for asking.
